從自治區招生考試院獲悉，2017年廣西普通大學聯考英語聽力口語考試定於3月11日至13日進行，考試以《普通高等學校招生全國統一考試英語考試大綱》為依據，並結合廣西中學英語教學的實際，重視“新教材、新情境”的創設與運用，考察學生的綜合語言運用能力。

英語聽力口語考試成績不計入大學聯考總分，僅以等級形式在考生大學聯考檔案中呈現，考生成績當年有效。2017年廣西普通大學聯考英語聽力口語考試繼續實行一年一考。

自治區招生考試院同時公佈了2017年廣西普通大學聯考英語聽力口語考試説明。考試以《普通高等學校招生全國統一考試英語考試大綱》為依據，並結合廣西中學英語教學的實際，重視“新教材、新情境”的創設與運用，考察學生的綜合語言運用能力，尤其是注重考查考生在某一語境下獲取和處理信息，用英語進行思維和表達的能力。
