英語語法口訣記憶

一、名詞所有格用法

【速記口訣】

名詞所有格,表物是“誰的”,

若為生命詞,加“’s”即可行,

詞尾有s,僅把逗號擇;

並列名詞後,各自和共有,

前者分別加,後者最後加;

若為無生命詞,of所有格,

前後須倒置,此是硬規則。

【妙語詮釋】 ①有生命的名詞所有格一般加s,但如果名詞以s結尾,則只加“’”;②並列名詞所有格表示各自所有時,分別加“’s”,如果是共有,則只在最後名詞加“’s”;③如果是無生命的名詞則用of表示所有格,這裏需要注意它們的順序與漢語不同,A of B要翻譯為B的A。

二、名詞單數變複數規則

【速記口訣】

單數變複數,規則要記住,

一般加s,特殊有幾處:

/s/結尾,es不離後,

末尾字母o,大多加s,

兩人有兩菜,es不離口,

詞尾f、fe,s前有v和e;

沒有規則詞,必須單獨記。

【妙語詮釋】 ①大部分單數可數名詞變為複數要加s,但如果單詞以ch,sh,s,x等結尾,則一般加es;②以o結尾的單詞除了兩人(negro,hero)兩菜(tomato,potato)加es外,其餘一般加s;③以f或fe結尾的單詞一般是把f,fe變為ve再加s;④中還有些單詞沒有規則,需要特殊,如child—children,mouse—mice,deer—deer,sheep—sheep,Chinese—Chinese,ox—oxen,man—men,woman—women,foot—feet,tooth—teeth。

三、冠詞基本用法

【速記口訣】

名詞是禿子,常要戴帽子,

可數名詞單,須用a或an,

輔音前用a, an在元音前,

若為特指時,則須用定冠,

複數不可數,泛指the不見,

碰到代詞時,冠詞均不現。

【妙語詮釋】冠詞是必考的之一,也是考查的主要對象。以上口訣包括的意思有:①名詞在一般情況下不單用,常常要和冠詞連用;②表示不確指的可數名詞單數前要用不定冠詞a或an,確指時要用定冠詞the;③如複數名詞表示泛指,名詞前有this,these,my,some等時就不用冠詞。

四、接不定式作賓語的動詞

【速記口訣】

三個希望兩答應,兩個要求莫拒絕;

法學會做決定,不要假裝在選擇。

【妙語詮釋】 三個希望兩答應:hope,wish,want,agree,promise

兩個要求莫拒絕:demand,ask,refuse

設法學會做決定:manage,learn,decide

不要假裝在選擇:petend,choose

五、接動名詞作賓語的動詞

【速記口訣】

用法索引

1.表示過去發生或已經完成的某一動作對現在造成的影響或結果。常用的時間狀語:already,get,never,just,before,recently,for+一段時間,since+一段時間

I have lost my key.(説明過去某時丟的,現在還未找到。)

2.表示過去已經開始,持續到現在的動作或狀態。

I have known him for ten years.

The dog has been dead for three days.

3.表示從過去到現在之間曾經經歷過的事。

We have been to the Summer Palace twice.

請你注意:

因為含有for加一段時間或since加一個時間點這樣的時間狀語的完成時,有動態和延續性的特點,所以不能使用終端動詞或瞬間動詞。

例:My sister has been here for 5 days.(過去分詞做表語表示狀態,可以延續)

My sister came here 5 days ago.(終端動詞)

Four friends were arguing over whose dog was the smartest. The first man, an engineer, called to his dog, "T Square, show your stuff. " The dog trotted over to a desk, pulled out a paper and pencil, and drew a perfect triangle.

The next guy, an accountant, called to his dog, "Slide Rule, go ahead. " The dog went to the kitchen, nibbled opened a bag of cookies and divided the contents into four equal piles.

The next man, a chemist, beckoned his dog, Beaker, to show what he could do. The dog went to the fridge, took out a quart of milk and poured out exactly eighty ounces into a measuring cup.

The last man was a government worker. "Coffee Break," he hollered to his dog, "go to it. " With that, the dog jumped to his feet, soiled the paper, ate the cookies and drank the milk.
