1. I can't imagine why.

我想不通為什麼。

關於imagine的幾個易混詞：

imaginable：可想象的。例句：These technological developments were hardly imaginable thirty years ago. 這些科技新產品在30年前幾乎是不可想像的。

imaginative：富於想象力的。例句：Scott was an imaginative writer. 司各特是位富於想象力的作家。

2. That can't be.

不可能。

另外很簡單的説法有：Tell me it isn't so. 不會吧？！

真了不起。

mean to：故意的。例句：I didn't mean to bother you. 我不是故意要打擾你的。

有時候你的舍友跟你搞點小破壞，你就可以説：“You're so mean." 當然這裏沒有卑鄙的程度那麼深，不要搞混哦~~看語境哦~~
