1. People Involved 相關人士：

租房的時候，難免涉及些牽線人，如：“house agency房產代理公司，house agent 房產代理人”;這些牽線人必然要聯繫“landlord 房東(landlady 女房東)”;最後跟我們這些“tenant=lodger=renter=roomer(美式)房客”談論細節。

2. Type of Accommodation 租房類型

住宿類型依各人經濟及喜好而定，有住在學校“halls of residence 集體宿舍 或student hostel 學生公寓或dormitory 宿舍”的;還有自己去外面租房子的：有經濟能力並想快速提高英語的去“homestay 在當地居民家中住宿”;也可以租幢“house房子”來住，裏面有“garden 花園，courtyard 院子，garage 車庫，swimming pool游泳池，fountain 噴泉，balcony 陽台，en-suite facilities 全套設施”(注意en suite的讀音，來自法語，讀法特殊)等等;還可以租套“flat=apartment公寓”或者“studio apartment 單身公寓”或者“bedsit 卧室兼起居室”來住;囊中羞澀點的租“single room 單人間，double room=twin room 雙人間，triple room 三人間”也就湊合吧。
