A: My brother was always disobeying me, but he never got in trouble for it.

B: Mine, too. He was always so smooth-tongued that he could talk his way out of anything, and my parents believed him!

A: 我的弟弟總是不聽我的`話，但他從沒惹過麻煩。

B: 我弟弟也是。他總是巧舌如簧，把任何事情都説得跟他無關似的，我爸媽就信了。

A: Do you think Fredericka really likes me?

B: No. You are the boss and she is on the make.

A: 你認為Fredericka真的喜歡我嗎？

B: 我可不這麼認為。你是老闆，她只是為達到自己的目的而不擇手段。
