We, leaving ignorance ushered in our youth. Youth, let us unbridled, relaxed, appreciate the wind that freedom, feel the cloud that comfortable, because youth gives us the peak of life, we do not need to mature, we are no longer ignorant, we only persistent. Positive energy in youth. strong energy helps me to support a firm belief, so that I am full of confidence in a challenging tomorrow.

Life is the pursuit of ideal, ideal is the indicator of life, lost the role of the lamp, will lose the courage of life. Therefore, only by adhering to the lofty ideals of life, will not be lost in the sea of life. Tolstoy will be the ideal of life is divided into a lifetime of ideal, the ideal of a stage, the ideal of a year, the ideal of a month, even the ideal of a day, an hour, a minute. When you hear this, students, do you think of your ideal?

Whose youth is not sad? Whose youth never want to give up? Who's youth without setbacks and difficulties? But, I no longer fear, I know there will be a kind of positive energy in my side, like hot sunshine warm my heart, take me to a better tomorrow. And I, will also become the positive energy of others, do my best to encourage and warm like I once helpless people.

The flower season of life is the spring of life, it is beautiful, but short. As a college student should be in this period, study hard, work hard, find a piece of their own sky. Youth is the hope of the motherland, the future of the nation. Everyone governs his own tomorrow.

One philosopher said, " the dream has gone many ways, wake up or in bed. " it vividly tells us a truth: people can't lie in the dream of ideal life. Yes, people not only want to have an ideal, but also bold fantasy, but also want to work hard to do, lying in the ideal waiting for a new start, if not only in the distant future, even have will lose. Students, are you also wandering in the dream of ideal?

Predecessors said well, " aspiring people set long ambition, no ambition people often aspire to", those who have no ambition " ambition", is a dream, is the so-called " ideal", they put their blueprint structure painted again beautiful, perfect, also is just a castle in the air, mirage. Students, are you a man of long ambition, or often determined? In the green years, whenever I am sad and confused, wandering helpless, there are always some people or things to encourage me, sending out a positive light warm me.

Be a person with positive energy, let oneself have the power to move forward. Positive energy is a powerful energy, it is bound to include a positive driving force, only in this way can make your studies, career, quality of life, etc. progress. No power is a terrible thing, just like a car without gasoline, rockets without fuel, plants no longer absorb sunlight, you will only chaos to every day, do the same thing, to this point naturally do what to do, there is no big goal and ideal. Isn't this terrible enough? Are you willing to silence like a pool of stagnant water standing still, also don't want to more power to meet the daily sun add energy? Of course not. when you have positive energy, you will naturally take your steps and be motivated to move to a new starting point.

Youth needs positive energy, positive energy will wings for us to fly to the vast blue sky! Finally, I want to use Liang Qichao's words to end today's speech: " young wisdom is the wisdom of the country, the rich is the rich, young strong is strong, young progress is the progress of the country, young male in the earth, the male in the earth. " let's sprinkle sweat all the way, drink all the way dusty, chew a hard, let youth continue to burn under the red flag; May every young man embrace his ideals and March on the voyage of life.

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. The issue of the Yellow River has become the biggest concern of members of the Chinese peoples Political Consultative Conference. My childhood, in fact, is closely associated with the river. My father is an engineering geologist, and he used to take me with him on his trips to the hydropower stations on the river. I enjoyed those trips, especially the trip to Longyang Xia reservoir. Although ten years have passed since my visit, I can still recall the scenery; I can still recall the water I saw at the reservoir. It was pure, clean and blue, not like the water I saw in the middle reaches of the river, which had turned brown and muddy after passing through the Loess Plateau.

Once during our stay at the power station, we were caught in a thunderstorm. And when rain stopped, I could see trickles of water rolling down mountain slopes and flowing into the reservoir. It carried little mud or sand, because at that time, trees and grass still grew around the reservoir. And they protected the soil. At Longyang Xia I was struck by the beauty of nature, and as a child I wanted to stay there and to grow up with our Yellow River.

Li Bai, the Tang Dynasty poet, said praises to the flowing water in the Yellow River. He saw it as coming down from heaven and nurturing the people along her way to the sea. However, in 1997,for 330days, not a single drop of water from the Yellow River went into the sea. And droughts are not the only punishment by nature. A friend of my father's, a university professor, is doing research on the Yellow River. According to this professor, the Yellow River will soon change its course if we allow this situation to continue. Because there is no longer enough water to carry away the silt and mud in the lower reaches of the river and the riverbed rises higher and higher each year.

We have taken too much from nature, but given back too little in return. And this is the cost of the unbalanced growth. If we had taken care of the vegetation in the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River, we would still experience the river as Li Bai described it.

While the developed countries are consuming proportionally more natural resources than the rest of the world, they've also taken some good measures in protecting nature. And as a developing country, China can learn from them in this aspect.

Last year, when I was visiting Australia with a group of Chinese students who had won prizes in an English Skills Test, our Australian hosts invited us to join them for a horse-ride in the mountains. After two hours on horseback, we reached a valley, where there was a most beautiful meadow, with flowers in all colors dotted on a huge blanket of green. When I began to praise the beauty of nature, my friends told me that in this valley, there used to be a big mine and the wastewater from the mine turned everything brown. When the mine was abandoned, people made great efforts to restore the green vegetation. They also used the latest biological technology choosing the best grass seeds suitable for the local soil. So the beautiful meadow is a result of commitment, hard work, and new technology.

What happened to this valley in Australia should also happen to our Yellow River and, in fact, it is happening. I have seen farmers planting trees on mountains along the Yellow River. I have seen them climb the mountain tops with seedlings on their shoulders because they had no machinery. I have seen them pour on trees the water they had carried up in buckets from miles down the valley. These farmers are quietly nourishing our Yellow River, just as the river has nourished them.

And these farmers, men and women I don't know, gave me the confidence that we and our Yellow River will grow together, and someday in the future, we will be able to drink the clean water from our Yellow River again, because she is our dearest mother.

Thank you.

Diana Dyad:Never, Ever Give Up

In the pitch-black night, stung by jellyfish, choking on salt water, singing to herself, hallucinating, Diana Nyad just kept on swimming. And that's how she finally achieved her lifetime goal as an athlete, an extreme 100-mile swim from Cuba to Florida, at age 64. Hear her story.

It's the fifth time Diana Nyad stand on the Cuban shore believing again that she’s going to make it all the way across that vast, dangerous wilderness of an ocean.

Life is about the journey, but not really the destination. We've been on a journey. Let's face it, we're all on a one-way street. What are we going to do as we go forward to have no regrets looking backTeddy Roosevelt quote was floating around in her brain over the past years in training. It says, "You go ahead and sit back in your comfortable chair as a critic or an observer, while the brave one gets in the ring, engages, gets bloody and dirty, and fails over and over and over again. Yet he isn't afraid or timid and lives life in a bold way." When you achieve your dreams, it's not so much what you get as who you have become in achieving them.

You have a dream and obstacles in front of you as we all do. None of us ever get through this life without heartache, without turmoil. Believe in perseverance and have faith. Get back up again when you can get knocked down and you will find your way.

"I have three messages," said the breathless Nyad. “The first is we should never ever give up. The second is you are never too old to chase your dreams. And the third is that it looks like the most solitary endeavor in the world but it takes a team.”

Hellen Keller said, “Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it.” People always fail because they stop trying, not because they encounter the unbeatable difficulties. "Never, never give up" means to keep trying and never stop working for your goals. I think it’s a very good piece of advice for all of us and this is the most important thing that can help us to achieve our goals.

I am quite sure that everybody knows Thomas Edison. Why so many people tried to invent the electric lamp, but only Thomas Edison succeedIf Edison, like many others, had been stilted by repeated failures, there would be no vibrant modern cities at night. His success proves that if a person is not scared by seemingly insurmountable adversity, he can find the way to success.

In my opinion, never stop working for your goal doesn’t mean you must be successful. It doesn't even mean that you must achieve your goal, but it's very important to keep it in your mind. There are enough unfavorable conditions which make our lives difficult, but what important for us is to make efforts towards your goal or your dream. If you have given your best for your goal or your dream, whether you succeed or not, at least you won't leave any regret in your life.

Don't give up working for your goal or your dream. If you succeed, you will taste great joy in your life. If you don't succeed, you won't have regret in your life because you have given your best.

Dreams are hard to follow, hold on and there will be tomorrow. You will find the way with the strength to carry on. Don’t give up.

What skill did you have inside to bring out to this universe?Uni meaning one, verse meaning song, you have a part to play in this song. So grab that microphone and be brave. English is a useful language all over the world. Why are we began to learn English when we were little children? Beacause it is very important for us to learn the world, if you cannot speak English you will lose half a chance to success.

I began to learn English when I was 8 years that moment,I do not like English.I connot remember all the words which I have learnt.I think it is very difficult for me to learn it I cannot read English loudly and I never answer the questions in the English classes.

Even if my English is very bad, my teacher stll encourages me to learn English hard and he gives me some ways to learn English. He tells me to read passages loudly and listen to the English tapes everyday order to progress my writing he also asks me to write some articles at times. I like listen to the English songs,he suggests me to sing the English a result of his ways my English becomes well.

Now, I like English very well and I still use the ways he tells me.I know I must learn English even hard.

psychopathic selves all over that beautiful land are fueling our selves' addiction to iPods, Pads, and bling, which further disconnect ourselves from ever feeling their pain, their suffering, their use, hey, if we're all living in ourselves and mistaking it for life, then we're devaluing and desensitizing life. And in that disconnected state, yeah, we can build factory farms with no windows, destroy marine life and use rape as a weapon of war. So here's a note to self: The cracks have started to show in our constructed world, and oceans will continue to surge through the cracks, and oil and blood, rivers of it.

Nature is Our Motherhttp:

htmlLet me begin my speech with a replay of scenes familiar to most, if not all, of those present here today.

take. take. take.. The relationship between a mother and a child always seems to follow such a pattern. I know my mother is always there for me, providing me with everything I need; from food to clothing, from tuition to pocket money. I never thought twice about all she did until one day she said,

Like a child endlessly asking, we humans, throughout history, have been continually demanding what we desire from nature. We enjoy the comfort and beauty of our furniture, yet we never bother to think about the serious soil erosion caused by deforestation. We take it for granted that we must warm ourselves in winter times, yet we seldom realize the burning away of precious natural resources. We appreciate all the prosperity from the development of modern industry, yet few would give the slightest consideration to the global air and water pollution caused by industrial wastes. Our ruthless exploitation has permanently impaired our mother earth. As we tragically learned from last summer's floods. We cannot continue our carelessness. Finally, standing here at the threshold of the 21st century, we cannot help thinking of our posterity. Nature is not only the mother of the present generation, but

also the mother of the generations to come. How severely our descendents will criticize us if we leave them a barren and lifeless mother? How much more they will appreciate us if we give them a world of harmony to inherit? Let us start respecting and caring for nature from now on. Let us start the campaign of creating a mutually beneficial relationship between people and nature right from this moment. With this new start, I firmly believe that our children, and our children's children will live in a brand new age of green trees, clean air, crystal water, blue sky and an even more promising world!

I Am Prepared to Die for an Idea.

My friends, comrades, and fellow South Africans: I greet you all in the name of peace, democracy, and freedom for all. I stand here before you not as a prophet but as a humble servant of you, the people. Your tireless and heroic sacrifices have made it possible for me to be here today. I therefore have placed the remaining years of my life in your , I extend my sincere and warmest gratitude to the millions of my compatriots and those in every corner of the globe who have campaigned tirelessly for my release. I extend special greetings to the people of Cape Town the city through which — which has been my home for three decades.

I salute the rank?and?file members of the ANC: You have sacrificed life and limb in the pursuit of the noble cause of our , like Solomon Mahlangu and Ashley Kriel, who have paid the ultimate price for the freedom of all South Africans. I salute the South African Communist Party for its sterling contribution to the struggle for democracy. You have survived 40 years of unrelenting persecution.

The memory of great communists like Moses Kotane, Yusuf Dadoo, Bram Fischer, and Moses Mabhida will be cherished for generations to come. I salute General Secretary Joe Slovo, one of our finest patriots. We are heartened by the fact that the alliance between ourselves and the Party remains as strong as it — it always , the National Education Crisis Committee, the South African Youth Congress, the Transvaal and Natal Indian Congresses, and COSATU and the many other formations of the Mass Democratic Movement. I also salute the Black Sash and the National Union of South African Students.

We note with pride that you have looked — that you have acted as the conscience of white South Africa. Even during the darkest days in the history of our struggle you held the flag of liberty high. The large?scale mass mobilization of the past few years is one of the key factors which led to the opening of the final chapter of our — Your organized strength is the pride of our movement. You remain the most dependable force in the struggle to end exploitation and oppression.

I greet the traditional leaders of our country — many among you continue to walk in the footsteps of great heroes like Hintsa and , you, the young lions. You, the young lions, have energized our entire struggle. I pay tribute to the mothers and wives and sisters of our nation. Without your support our struggle would not have reached this advanced stage. The sacrifice of the frontline states will be remembered by South Africans , black and white, recognize that apartheid has no future. It has to be ended by our own decisive mass action in order to build peace and security.

The mass campaigns of defiance and other actions of our organizations and people can onlyculminate in the establishment of continent is in calculable. The fabric of family life of millions of my people has been shattered. Millions are homeless and unemployed. Our economy — Our economy lies in ruins and our people are embroiled in political strife. Our resort to the armed struggle in 19xx with the formation of the military wing of the ANC, Umkhonto we Sizwe, was a purely defensive action against the violence of apartheid. The factors which necessitated the armed struggle still exist today. We have no option but to continue. We express the hope that a climate conducive to a negotiated settlement will be created soon so that there may no longer be the need for the armed , strategies, and , I feel duty?bound to make the point that a leader of the movement is a person who has been democratically elected at a national conference.

This is a principle which must be upheld without any , I wish to report to you that my talks with the government have been aimed at normalizing the political situation in the country. We have not as yet begun discussing the basic demands of the struggle. I wish to stress that I myself have at no time entered into negotiations about the future of our country except to insist on a meeting between the ANC and the has gone further than any other Nationalist President in taking real steps to normalize the situation. However, there are further steps, as outlined in the Harare Declaration, that have to be met before negotiations on the basic demands of our people can begin.

Negotiations cannot take place — Negotiations cannot take place above the heads or behind the backs of our people. It is our belief that the future of our country can only be determined by a body which is democratically elected on a non?racial basis. Negotiations on the dismantling of apartheid will have to address the overwhelming demands of our people for a democratic, non?racial and unitary South Africa. And this reality is that we are still suffering under the policies of the Nationalist , so that the process towards democracy is rapid and uninterrupted. We have waited too long for our freedom. We can no longer wait.

Now is the time to intensify the struggle on all fronts. To relax our efforts now would be a mistake which generations to come will not be able to role in a united democratic and non?racial South Africa is the only way to peace and racial harmony. In conclusion, I wish to quote my own words during my trial in 19xx. They are as true today as they were then. I spoke: I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and — and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die.

Modern in China and abroad, nobody all the time is not making the success dream. The scholar was vainly hoping for obtains the outstanding academic record; The poor was vainly hoping for the one day on wealthy small capital life .......The success, is in each individual heart the loftiest dream.Studies the multitudinous celebrity's success experience, always cannot leave the following many factors the union: Scientific method, self-confident, insistence, patience, tenacious, discipline, good faith, industrious and so on.This also became a person to obtain the success the formula.

But in realistic society, the people always said the matter easy to be doing difficultly. Finally could obtain the successful person to become extremely rare. Therefore, the success, became the people one kind luxuriously to yearn for. When the people through how many year endeavor, had still not seen success hope, people's thought always depth is having doubts unavoidably bog: I can succeed? When can succeed? In this a succession of question behind, is following close on is the suspicion and lax. When Nicolay.

Good morning teachers and fellow students:

Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

Whether 60 of 26 , there is in every human being ?s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what?s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there?s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.

Thank you!

How to Be Popular

Most people would like to be popular with others, but not everyone can achieve this goal. What is the secret to popularityIn fact, it is very simple. The first step is to improve our appearance. We should always make sure that we stay in good shape and dress well. When we are healthy and well-groomed, we will not only look better but also feel better. In addition, we should smile and appear friendly. After all, our facial expression is an important part of our appearance. If we can do this, people will be attracted to our good looks and impressed by our confidence.

Another important step is developing more consideration for others. We should always put others first and place their interests before our own. It's also important to be good listeners; in this way people will feel comfortable enough to confide in us. However, no matter what we do, we must not gossip. Above all, we must remember to be ourselves, not phonies. Only by being sincere and respectful of others can we earn their respect. If we can do all of the above, I am sure popularity will come our way.

Learn How to Say No

We've all been taught that we should help people. It is the right thing to do and will make us popular with others. It may even win us favors in return. However, we must be realistic. We can't say yes to every request. If we did, we would fail or go crazy for sure. Sometimes we simply don't have the time to help. In this case, we must know how to say no politely.

When we need to say no, here is one method we can try. First, we should tell the truth. If we really can't do something, we should just say so. Second, we should remember to refuse requests politely. We must communicate clearly, but must also be sincere and sympathetic. A true friend will understand. Finally, we must not feel guilty about saying no. Sometimes refusing others is the right thing to do. It can save ourselves, and them, a lot of trouble. In short, we cannot please everyone all the time. Refusing favors is a part of life.

How to Sell Yourself

In this competitive society it is essential to know how to sell yourself in order to get the job you want. That means you must be able to market your best features and present yourself in the best light. After all, you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

There are several things you can do to project a good image in an interview. First of all, look like a winner. Dress conservatively and well, and you'll look like you're going to the top. Second, communicate clearly. Consider each question carefully and respond with total honesty. Remember to make eye contact and maintain good posture. You need to look attentive but also at ease. Third, have a positive and assertive attitude. It's important to appear confident of your ability and optimistic about your future. Finally, be prepared. Present a professional resume and be ready to explain everything in detail.

By following the advice above, you are bound to make a good impression on potential employers. Then you will be able to choose

the best opportunity for you and take that first step towards success.

Responsibility is a Badge of Honour for Youth

Facing this audience on the stage, I have the exciting feeling of participating in the march of history, for what we are facing today is more than a mere competition or contest. It is an assembly of some of China's most talented and motivated people, representatives of a younger generation that are preparing themselves for the coming of a new century.

I'm grateful that I've been given this opportunity, at such a historic moment, to stand here as a spokesman of my generation and to take a serious look back at the past 15 years, a crucial period for every one of us and for this nation as well.

Though it is only within my power to tell about my personal experience, and only a tiny fragment of it at that, it still represents, I believe, the root of a spirit which has been essential to me and to all the people bred by the past 15 years.

In my elementary years, there was a little girl in the class who worked very hard but somehow could never do satisfactorily in her lessons.

The teacher asked me to help her, and it was obvious that she expected a lot from me. but as a young boy, restless, thoughtless, I always tried to evade her so as to get more time to enjoy myself. One day before the final exam, she came up to me and said, "Could you please explain this to meI want very much to do better this time. " I started explaining, and finished in a hurry.

Pretending not to notice her still confused eyes, I ran off quickly. Nat surprisingly, she again did very badly in the exam. And two months later, at the beginning of the new semester, word came of her death of blood cancer. No one ever knew about the little task I failed to fulfill, but I couldn't forgive myself. I simply couldn't forget her eyes, which seem to be asking, "Why didn't you do a little more to help me, when it was so easy for youWhy didn't you understand a little better the trust placed in you, so that I would not have to leave this world in such pain and regret"

I was about eight or nine years old at that time, but in a way it was the very starting point of my life, for I began to understand the word "responsibility" and to learn to always do my duties faithfully and devotedly, for the implications of that sacred word has dawned on me: the mutual need and trust of people, the co-operation and inter-reliance which are the very foundation of human society.

Later in my life, I continued to experience many failures. But never again did I feel that regret which struck me at the death of the girl, for it makes my heart satisfied to think that I have always done everything in my power to fulfill my responsibilities as best I can.

As I grew up, changed and improved by this incident and many other similar ones, I began to perceive the changes taking place around me and to find that society, in a way, was in its formative years like myself. New buildings, new commodities and new fashions appear every day.

New ideas, new information, new technologies. People can talk with each other from any corner of the earth in a matter of seconds. Society is becoming more competitive.

Words like individuality and creativity are getting more emphasis and more people are rewarded for their hard work and efforts. Such is the era in which this generation ,grows and matures.

Such is the era in which this generation will take over the nation from our fathers and learn to run it. Yet in the meantime, many problems still exist.

We learn that crimes take place in broad daylight with crowds of people looking on and not assisting. We hear that there are still about 1 million children in this country who can't even afford to go to elementary schools while enormous sums of money are being squandered away on dinner parties and luxury cars.

We buy shoddy medicines, or merely worthless junk in the name of medicines, that aggravate, rather than alleviate our diseases since money, many people believe, is the most important thing in the world that must be made, even at the expense of morality and responsibility.

Such an era, therefore, determines that we are a generation with a keener sense of competition and efficiency and a greater readiness to think critically and act creatively.

Such an era, furthermore, demands, that we are a generation with a clear perception of our historical responsibility and an aggressive will to take action and solve the problems. History has long been preparing these qualities in this generation and it is now calling us forward to give testimony to our patriotism and heroism towards this nation and all humanity.

Standing here now, I think of the past 15 years of my life as an ordinary student. Probably I'll be an ordinary man for the rest of my life. But this doesn't discourage me any, for I know that with my sense of responsibility and devoted efforts to always strive, for the best, it's going to be a meaningful and worthwhile life that I will be living.

Standing here now, I think of the past 15 years of this nation, which has achieved greatness that inspired millions of people of my age, most of whom will not attain fame or prestige and only a few of whom will be remembered by posterity. But that doesn't discourage us any, because we

know that the world watches, the world listens, the world is waiting to see where this nation will be heading in a time of rich opportunities and fierce competition.

I can't ever forget that little girl in my class who couldn't had the same opportunities as any of us here to enjoy a wonderful life today and a hopeful world tomorrow.

It is the sacred responsibility of this generation to face up to the challenges of the new century and to devote our sweat and blood, our wisdom and passion, to the historic cause of making this nation a greater and happier land for every one of us.

We are not going to evade that responsibility. We are going to let people down. And people, far and near, will hear of us. Frost will be brought to their backbones and tears to their eyes when our stories are told and retold, So let us go forth, my fellow members of this luckily chosen generation, and meet the new century in victory and glory.

Knowing the Consequences of Choice

Over the past Spring Festival, I got involved in a family dispute. Right before I got home, four satellite channels of CCTV were added to the 14 channels we had already had. In prime time at night, they all had interesting shows. Therefore, the five of us-my parents, my sisters and I-had to argue over what to watch. Finally, we agreed that we should watch the "most interesting" programme... If we

could agree what that was.

However, all of us there remember that for a long time after we had TV, there were only one or two channels available. The increase in options reveals an important change in our life: the abundance of choice.

Fifteen years ago we all dressed in one style and in one colour. Today, we select from a wide variety of designs and shades.

Fifteen years ago, we read few newspapers. Today, we read English newspapers like the China Daily and the 21st Century, as well as various Chinese newspapers.

Fifteen years ago, English majors took only courses in language and literature. Today, we also study Western culture, journalism, business communications, international relations, and computer science.

The emergence of choices marks the beginning of a new era in China's history; an era of diversity, of material and cultural richness, and an era of the rebirth of the Chinese nation.

Today's speech I want to talk to my classmates about a few stories, these stories are in our side, but we have never noticed, thinking.

One night last semester, go alone to five teaching self - study. Fatigue to his eyes faint, faint yellow light trance to see a little boy shuttle between tables and chairs, those hands links to pick up the garbage in the table bucket. Looking back, his mother is holding a large woven bag, came and took the garbage. Mother and son of the shadow under the irradiation of a group of lights appear very long, repeated, fade out of the classroom. I just looked at, what seems to be thinking, so for a long time.

A small thing in life study, let me look at yourself again. His little bad habits, bring others? Shouldn't we be good young people who love school and life? How can we indulge in the erosion of negative energy on us? I have asked a few students, how don't you remember to take away the garbage generated by self-study in class? Most students are vacant answer, not someone to accept?

Some of our own little habits, little laziness. Slowly become entrenched negative energy, we didn't even notice, slowly accustomed to. Our youth, we are young, but ignorance is not synonymous with youth and youth.

Classmate, don't know if you have ever met this kind of situation, one night, you are going to carry a bag to the library to study, is shouting to let the dormitory of several other elder brothers go with you, at that time, a classmate said: " oh, boy, the sun came out to the west, you should go to the library, don't pack! " you hesitated, thinking about next week's exam, or thinking about to go to the library self-study make-up class, so, you are going to go, then another voice rang:" hurry up to open the computer, hero league open a black shop sent a person ah, how can you do without! " at this time, you silently put down the bag, opened the computer, just study the idea of abrupt was left behind ...

The word " positive energy" students are familiar with, its network meaning refers to all give people up, give people hope and pursuit, make people action motivation and feelings. As a contemporary college student, I think we should be a positive energy person, at the same time, also should make friends with positive energy, in each other's communication, let positive energy together into a larger upward force, so that college life more positive. " true, good, beautiful" has always been as a synonym for positive energy, specific to college life, positive energy also covers a lot of meaning: for example, pay attention to social welfare undertakings, to participate in social practice, let love transfer, so that their lives are sublimated; In the face of setbacks and life is not the best, to be able to persevere, with a positive attitude to face; In the study, be able to persevere, hard work, perseverance; Be a responsible person, able to understand their responsibilities, parents' expectations and social expectations. My classmates, my story is not over yet.

After that night, I often talked to my classmates about the experience, everyone also have feelings. Gradually, I found that after class we didn't leave the classroom in such a hurry, but scanned the table bucket, conveniently take their garbage. I feel a positive energy in the spread, everyone has a sunshine and beautiful heart. In the dormitory, inner remorse let me I can no longer continue to play games like this, I flatly cutting away. One day, two days, I also saw them in the study room, we smiled at each other. The original transfer of positive energy is not difficult. Young people always have all kinds of ideas, the oath of youth will always be on the lips. No matter where can reflect the vitality of our young people, and the university is a place where young people gathered most. There will be more things, and the inside of the idea will be more rich.

By HE Vice Foreign Minister Liu Zhenmin of China

November 21, 20xx

Your Excellency General Chang Wanquan, State Councillor and Defense Minister,

Distinguished Guests,

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It's my great honor to attend the Xiangshan Forum.

The theme of this year's forum cannot be more appropriate. As far as we can see, "Win-win through Cooperation: Building an Asian Community of Shared Destiny" is the way to go for Asia.

Asia was the cradle of ancient civilization. Yet Asia suffered a lot in modern times. Many Asian countries fell prey to colonial or semi-colonial rule. Many of them won back their

independence after WWII, only to be trapped in a Cold War.

Since the end of the Cold War, Asian countries were finally able to focus on development and on exploring a path suited to their national conditions. Embracing the principles of mutual respect, equality and win-win cooperation, Asian countries ushered in the age of Asian rejuvenation and created the Asian miracle.

Forces of globalization have transformed our world into a global village. The interests of countries have never been so closely inter-connected. We are all bound together as one community of shared destiny.

While we take pride in Asia becoming a major pillar and driver of growth for the world economy, we are aware of the imbalances building up in Asia, imbalances in Asia's

development, imbalances between the two wheels of economy and security, and the rising challenge in balancing the interests of regional countries and outside players.

Asia can only go far if it follows the trend of ours times, seize opportunities and build up the community of shared destiny.

In the past two years since taking office, the new Chinese leadership placed much priority on enhancing regional and international cooperation, as it pressed ahead with the agenda of comprehensive deepening of reform and opening-up.

Chinese leaders put forward a wide range of initiatives and proposals for regional cooperation, such as the Silk Road Economic Belt, 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, the Asian Security Concept, and a community of shared destiny between China and ASEAN and in Asia in general.

As a big Asian nation with 14 neighbors on land and 8 across the sea, China knows only too well that it depends on Asia for peace and development, and that its hope and future lies in building the Asian community of shared destiny.

In my humble views, we need to build three pillars for the Asian community.

First, a community of shared interests. This is the foundation for the Asian community. Asian countries should complement each other's strengths through cooperation and tighten the bond of common interests and economic integration.

Major countries should support ASEAN community-building and ASEAN centrality in

regional cooperation. We should make good use of the ASEAN plus one (10+1) and ASEAN plus three (10+3) frameworks to deepen practical cooperation and gradually shape an East Asian economic community.

Second, a community of shared responsibility. This is an important safeguard for the Asian community. Prosperity comes only with peace. Compared with some other regions, Asia is blessed with overall stability. There exists no major threat to lasting peace in Asia. This situation should be cherished.

Asian countries bear primary responsibility for the security of their region. We should enhance mutual understanding and trust through closer dialogue and cooperation, and jointly promote regional peace and stability.

Third, a community of culture and people. If economy and security are the two wheels driving the Asian community, then cultural and people-to-people exchanges is the spoke connecting the two wheels.

Asia is rich in diversity and cultural heritage. We should promote exchanges, dialogue, and encourage inclusiveness and mutual learning. We should increase the flow of our peoples, deepen friendship and turn Asia into a big and harmonious family.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Stability in Asia has wider global significance and is drawing global attention. I'm glad it is also the central topic of this Forum. Let me share with you a few thoughts on how to build a foundation of peace and stability for the Asian Community of Shared Destiny.

First, there needs to be new concepts and approaches to security. Old security concepts based on the Cold War mentality, zero-sum game, and worship of force are being overtaken by new trends of regional economic integration. Strengthening bilateral military alliances and ensuring absolute security for oneself will easily worsen divisions and confrontation in the region.

In the absence of a generally accepted common security concept in Asia, countries should embrace openness and inclusiveness and explore a new path for Asian security.

At the CICA Conference (Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia) in Shanghai this year, President Xi Jinping proposed an Asian security concept based on common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security.

Common security means respecting and ensuring the security of each and every country. Comprehensive security means upholding security in both traditional and non-traditional fields. Cooperative security means promoting the security of both individual countries and the region as a whole through dialogue and cooperation. Sustainable security calls for both development and security to make security durable.

This security concept is developed from the common security and cooperative security

approach long existing in our region. It opens up broad new prospects for security cooperation in Asia. China is both a proponent and practitioner of this Asian security concept. We are ready to work with regional countries to achieve security for all through win-win cooperation. Second, there needs to be stable bilateral relations. One cannot choose its neighbors, and it is natural that neighbors encounter problems with each other. All parties should uphold the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, accommodate each other's interests and concerns, and resolve disputes through peaceful means.

China has signed treaties of good-neighborliness, friendship and cooperation with a number of countries including Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan and Afghanistan and is in discussions with ASEAN on a similar treaty. What these treaties do is to reaffirm the

commitment of countries to good-neighborly relations through the force of law to institutionalize stable bilateral relations.

Territorial and maritime disputes bear on countries' fundamental interests and national feelings, and hence are highly difficult to resolve. We should respect international law and historical facts. Disputes that do not have quick solutions may be shelved and parties can go for joint development. This would be a good way to narrow differences and create conditions for future resolution.

Opting for negotiated settlement by parties directly concerned is a valuable experience gained by China through handling boundary and maritime issues in the past six decades. China has settled boundary issues with 12 out of 14 land neighbors.

China and India maintain close communication through the Special Representatives on the Boundary Question. Talks on the boundary issue between China and Bhutan are going smoothly.

China and Vietnam have delineated the maritime boundary in the Beibu Bay and are

discussing delimitation and joint development in the outer mouth of the Beibu Bay. China and the ROK have agreed to officially launch negotiations on maritime delimitation in 20xx. China and ASEAN countries maintained effective dialogue on the South China Sea issue and made significant headway. We follow the "dual-track" approach, namely, disputes are to be resolved through negotiations by countries directly concerned while peace and stability in the South China Sea is maintained jointly by China and ASEAN countries. This is a realistic and effective way to properly handle the South China Sea issue.
