Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen. Today the topic of my speech is "Discover yourself "

I think each people is unique . Everyone is different from others I don’t need to envy others，because I think I am the only one in the world! So do you know yourself ?

In the eyes of my parents， I am forever a good kid ! In the eyes of my teachers， I am a hard-working girl ! In the eyes of my friends， I am a happy angle.，because the smile is always on my face ! But what do I think of myself !

In fact , everyone has their own advantages and disadvantages , so we want to develop our strengths . At the same time , we also need to discover our weakness and correct ly I discovered that I had a lot of good characters , such as kind , cheerful , generous so on.

For example , I used to be a shy girl . I was too timid to speak in front of many people , but now I changed a lot . I often take part in all kinds of

activities ！

Last term, I took part in a Chinese speech contest. I needed to read and play with our partners . It’s the first time for me to act it. At the beginning , I was very nervous . But I didn't want to give it up . So we were ready for the speech carefully ! In the end , we won the first prize . My secret of success is confidence have nothing to lose ! so we can try our best .

But life always give us some frustrations and I wasn't always very confident . I always think that others are better than myself . I also have many disadvantages times I get into trouble,especially in my study . I study very hard, but sometimes my grades are bad . It made me very upset .I think this is unfair . But I can't give up ,so I work harder and harder lly I made great progress by working hard !

Everyone should learn to discover yourself . Please believe in yourself !

I am Chinese. I am proud of being a Chinese with five thousand years of civilization behind. I've learned about the four great inventions made by our forefathers. I've learned about the Great Wall and the Yangtze River. I've learned about Zhang Heng(張衡)and I've learned about Zheng He(鄭和)．Who says the Yellow River Civilization has vanished(消失)？I know that my ancestors have made miracles(奇蹟)on this fertile land and we're still ma-ki-ng miracles. Who can ignore the fact that we have established ourselves as a great state in the world, that we have devised our own nuclear weapons, that we have successfully sent our satellites into space, and that our GNP ranks No. 7 in the world? We have experienced the plunders (掠奪) by other nations, and we have experienced the war. Yet, based on such ruins, there still stands our nation----China, unyielding and unconquerable!

I once came across an American tourist. She said, “China has a history of five thousand years, but the US only has a history of 200 years. Five thousand years ago, China took the lead in the world, and now it is the US that is leading.”My heart was deeply touched by these words. It is true that we're still a developing nation, but it doesn't mean that we can despise (鄙視) ourselves. We have such a long-standing history, we have such abundant resources, we have such intelligent and diligent people, and we have enough to be proud of. We have reasons to say proudly： we are sure to take the lead in the world in the future again, for our problems are big, but our ambition (雄心) is even bigger, our challenges (挑戰) are great, but our will is even greater.

I am Chinese. I have inherited (繼承) black hair and black eyes. I have inherited the virtues of my ancestors. I have also taken over responsibility. I am sure, that wherever I go, whatever I do, I shall never forget that I am Chinese!

2. Yes, we can

This is for my people who just lost somebody, your best friend, your baby, your man or your lady. Lift your head to the sky, we will never say bye.

These are words of the song Bye-Bye. Every time when I hear it, I’ll always lose myself in grief recalling the tough time we came through in 2015.

The snow storm, the Tibet issue, the obstruction to the Olympic torch relay，the

earthquake……Time dates back to the day the horrible earth quake occurred in Sichuan, tens of thousands of people lost life and families. I’ll never forget those days I sat front of the TV, moved by people never gave up under ruins even there’s little hope to survive. I’ll never forget those days most newspa-pe-rs and websites were all in black and white. I’ll never forget those days I had my black coat on, writing down my best wishes to the suffering people.

At the same time, I also remember those days my friends abroad told me that they joined in the protest against western world’s bias on China and the fight against the Tibetan separatists. I can still remember the day when I went to see the torch relay at Hangzhou with heart shaped stickers on cheek. I wore the T-shirt with words Light the Passion, Light the Dream . When the torch passed by, we cheered Go China, Go Beijing, sang the national anthem again and again, waving flags, dancing, hugging, clapping.

It was the opening ceremony of 2015 Beijing Olympic Games which shocked the whole world and told the entire human Yes, we can.

Yes, we can, because we are united and brave

Yes, we can because we have trust and love

Yes, we can because we are the member of the great nation China

I’m so happy that I can be admitted by my dreamed school. The new campus gives me a new start so I have a dream that the future me can rise out this small world and hold a place of myself, after several years’ experience . 我太高興了，我可以承認我的夢想學校。新校園給了我一個新的開始，所以我有一個夢想，今後我可以擺脱這個小世界和舉行地點的`我，經過幾年的經驗。

In order to make this dream come true, I ask myself not only focus my attention on studies ,because I should face all the society not only my textbooks or my classmates.

為了使這一夢想成真，我問自己，不僅集中了我的注意學習，因為我應該面對所有的社會不僅是我的教科書或我的同學。

I think college is also a small society where I can improve myself example I should learn how to get along with other though I may dislike them ,or how to deal with things that I used regard as worthless and so on.. 我認為，大學也是一個小社會裏，我可以提高自己。例如我應該學會如何相處與其他雖然我可能不喜歡他們，或如何處理的事情，我使用方面的毫無價值的，等等..

5. Healthy Lifestyle

Hello, everyone.I am very glad to have this chance to join this speech contest.I am li Mengtian.I am from Wan Fang Middle School . Today the topic of my speech is “Healthy Lifestyle”.

Health is very important in our you want to have a happy life,you must have a healthy you know how we keep in good health?Let me tell you.

Everyone knows a good eating habit is very important for us not many people have time to think about what to eat many western food is very use people don't have time to eat,and they also think fast food is very America,an American can eat about three hamburgers and four bags of French chips every is 2520 we know a person need about only 2000 calories for a you see , many Americans are very fat. We should have a good eating habit at should we do?

People always say,"An apple e day,keeps the doctor away."Drinking milk is also good for we need a balance of "yin"and "yang"'s a traditional Chinese way to keep shouldn't eat too much unhealthy food like junk , I will tell you what food are best for our health . Eggs have too much protein , you know protein is good for tomatoes have too many vitamins , it's good for , soybean , carrots , seafood , green tea ,pawpaw , oranges , strawberries and so on are also healthy food . Please eat more these kinds of food!

We know that exercise is also very important . Exercising can make children more alert . There are many ways to exercise . You can run , swim , skate or play ball games like basketball , volleyball , football and golf . But maybe you don't know walking is also good for our body , and maybe it's better than other sports . You should exercise in the morning , because you can enjoy fresh air then . Some people like exercising at fitness centers , there are a lot of equipments . You should exercise for 20 minutes every day . Don't exercise too much . It's bad for us!

And a good sleeping habit is good for us , too re we go to bed,we should drink some milk, it can help us sleep I know some people always can't sleep well.I think they shouldn't, take a sleeping pill . After evening meal , they should go for walk or have conversations with their family or listen some light music . Maybe these activities can make them than sleep well.

Happiness lies first of all in health , you must know many things about healthy lifestyle . If you want to have happy life , you should have a good eating habit , exercise every day and sleep well . So I wish everyone's life is getting hathier and heathier ,happier and happier , more and more wonderful!
