通過三毛，我認識了周莊，餘秋雨先生的《江南小鎮》，更使我萌生了到周莊一遊的想法。

葉楚傖故居位於周莊鎮的西灣街上，現為一個三開門、五進深的院落。葉楚傖的祖父葉厚甫無意仕途，經商發遜後修建了“祖陰堂”。到葉楚傖的父親葉鳳巢時，家道衰落，昔日輝煌所剩無幾，只好靠設館援徒維持生計。聰慧的葉楚傖便從這裏走向了大千世界。

走上小樓，少年時期的葉楚傖在此飽讀經書，書卷氣濃郁。書香依舊，一部部線裝古書安然排放在書櫥之中。哲人仙鶴而去，文風千古長有。面對先生所讀之書，我看到先生操一葉偏舟，從此起航；看到他與于右任，邵力子並肩，跟隨孫中山先生，執如椽大筆書寫革命人生。出走故居，我的心為先生的精神所留，先生用江河直瀉的語言，酣暢淋漓的筆鋒，直指腐敗的清廷和軍閥的統治。周莊，你因有了先生此類的人，你的歷史才會厚重，才會有濃濃的一筆。你靈動的水韻，將會哺育一代一代先生似的偉人。
