2017英語六級作文範文

  我明白了教育真意

with the rapid development of society , almost everyone wants to be educated . howeve r , many people hold an erroneous view towards education . they think , probably most pa rents do , that through education , they will , or their childr en will , turn out to be either prominent schola rs or rich mer - chants . to them, education s uggests me rely fame or riches .

the aim of education , in my understanding , is set upon deeper and more impor tant mental accomplishments and moral cultur e . when we study at school or at the university , we a re cer tainly aiming at a profound learning of various subjects , for that is one of the essential things and a fundamental indispensable for building up our futur e car eer . equally impor tant is the moral education which we mu st r eceive eithe r at school or a t the university, for building our cha racter .

on the other hand , education does not simply mean “ going to school .”we cannot consider ourselves well-educated and supe rior just because we ar e the for tunat e ones who can go somewhe re to study , thus looking down upon those who cannot get such golden chances as ours . it is a t ruth univer sally known that that a doctor is dif ferent from a black smith is not because the forme r has r eceived higher education and the latt er has not .

to conclude my essay , i would like to quote an old saying“ lea rn whatever it may be, whenever you can , and whenever you will , ”and this , i thin k , is the t rue meaning of education .

should young people always r espect and obey those older than themselves in all circumstances ? in my opinion , respect and obedience do not necessarily go hand in hand all the time .

in my context , people who a re older than me should be my pa rents , older siblings , t eachers , relatives and others , who sta rted life ear lier than i and have seen the coming and going of generations and are ther efor e much more experienced . in view of their seniority in age and rich experiences , they do dese rve our r espect .

responding our senior s is the basic expression of politeness , such as greeting them, helping them do anything within our capacity and seeking advice from them in making decisions in life . such response f rom us is an expr ession of love , too . the senior s , being ass ur ed of our sincerity , will be most happy and contented .

howeve r , whether you ng people should always obey the seniors remain s cont roversial . before responding , i think it is helpful to ask : is the advice or desire given morally right ? is it encouraging me to act against my own will ? is it given based on pr ejudices ? i am convinced tha t young people should not simply obey without thinking , because blind obedience only confirms how immature, impulsive and naive we are .

to conclude , it is necessary to respect the seniors , however , to obey them a t all times is questionable . as goes the saying“ think before you act , ”i am sure that every matur e youth will discern what is right and what is wrong before r esponding wisely .

本文是一篇典型的議論文, 題目是一個社會熱門話題。文中作者的論點是“ 尊敬長者理所應當”而“ 總要服從則另當別論”。全文的説服力很強, 行文流暢, 是一篇很好的範文。

  代溝

every new gener ation is differ ent f rom the one that pr eceded it . today the differ ence is ve ry marked indeed .

old people ar e always saying that the young are not wha t they wer e . the same comment is made f rom gener ation to gener ation and it is always true . i t has never been t rue r than it is today . the young ar e better educated . they have a lot more money to spend and enjoy more f reedom . they grow up quickly and ar e not so dependent on their parents . t hey think more of themselves and do not blindly accept the idea of their elders . events which the older gener ation remembe rs vividly ar e nothing more than past history .

just look a t the teenage gir ls who scr eam hysterically over the pop star s and the teenage boys who copy the sta rs and grow their hair long and a re no longer ashamed of wearing “ pret ty”clothes , a re simply breaking through the chinese tr aditional reserve and fea r of s howing their feelings . wha t is more, nowadays most boys and girls are good companions and some of them even fall in“puppy love .”a lot of olde r people sigh and say ,“we did not use to do like this .”

do you think the older people’s criticism stems f rom jealousy just becau se they could not or did not behave in the same way when they were young ?
