1、調整心理狀態

在開首，同學們在練習聽力以及正式的考試中都必須遵循的一條，就是放鬆心情，但要使聽覺系統緊張起來。只有放鬆心情，才能正常(甚至超水平)發揮聽力。

聽的過程中，一定要集中注意力，不要胡思亂想。同學們在平時訓練中，就要注意加強大腦與聽覺系統之間的協調與溝通。

2、注意辨別近音

比如：

W: I've got to buy a new car.

M: Really?

Q: What does the woman mean?

選項：

A) She purchased a car recently.

B) She knew the car was in the lot.

C) She always forgets to clean her car.

D) She really needs a new car.

可以看出，B)項中的knew是對原文中new的近音干擾，C)項中的forget是對have got to的近音干擾。

因此，在遇到這類題時，要求考生要仔細，不要一看到干擾項就立即作出選擇，從而中了題設陷阱。

3、作必要記錄

在Section A中，有關於時間，數量推算之類的題目。做這類題目時，考生要記下有關數字，並作簡單計算。

否則，等聽完之後，腦中暫歇的信息一經消退，你就可能無法得到正確答案，亦或出現混亂而出錯。

比如：

W: I only have ten dollars, is it enough for three tickets?

M: Well, you can buy three $2 tickets and three $3 tickets, whichever you like.

W: I'll like the cheaper seats, please.

Q: How much money will the woman have after she buys the tickets?

做這個題時，最好記下幾個數字：10，3，2，3，分別代表有10元錢，買3張票，有2元一張和3元一張的。

當你聽到買票者要便宜的一種，你立即可得出她還剩四元錢。

4、快速瀏覽選項

比如：

A) The doctor is busy tomorrow.

B) The doctor won't see her tomorrow.

C) The doctor is busy all day today.

D) The doctor will see her today.

當你閲讀了這四個選項後，你就會聯想到這是關於醫生的活動安排的內容。

這時，你就要集中注意力在醫生的'日程上。

W: When can the doctor see me?

M: He won't be free until tomorrow.

Q: What does the man mean?

你聽到醫生直到明天才會有空時，答案就很明顯了。A)、B)、D)項都與原文所表達的意思不符。只有 C)貼切。

從這一點也可以看出，聽力技巧的提高跟你閲讀能力高低有很大關係。

因此，平時還要加強閲讀訓練，以期能迅速理解選項意思。

5、掌握因果邏輯

掌握一些體現原因的詞，如because，as，due to，on account of，in that，so…that，such…that，now that，thanks to，owing to，result in，give rise to等等。

熟悉這些詞或詞組的表達法很重要。

另外，表達先後順序通過時態上也可體現出因果關係。

比如：

M: I was very sorry to hear about Bill's being fired.I know hewas sick a lot and that he usually got to work late.

W: Oh,it wasn't that made a big error in accounting. Even though it wasn't really his fault,his boss was very angry.

Q: Why did Bill lose his job?

Bill被解僱的原因是made a big error in accounting..
