Nancy：I'm visiting relatives this weekend.

Victor：這個週末我要去看看我的親戚。

Nancy：Relatives means family members. But not really close family, not your mother, father, sister or brother.

Victor：啊，聽了Nancy的話，我真是醍醐灌頂。原來relative是親戚的意思，可不包括你的`爸爸、媽媽、兄弟、姐妹，所有的直系親屬叫family member。

Nancy：But this would be your grandparents, your aunts, your uncles or your cousins.

Victor：大家要注意這裏Nancy用的介詞visit on your cousins，cousin就表示你的表兄妹或兄弟。

Nancy：So, I'm visiting relatives this weekend.

Victor：I'm visiting relatives this weekend.
