有一次上課，廣播裏説:“請跳團體操的同學們到學校體育館排練。”英語老師讓她們去了，可是又説：“你們放學後留下來，我給你們補課。”她是多麼負責啊！有哪位老師肯花自己的時間去給幾個同學補課。

又有一次，我們吃好了中午飯，準備回教室休息，這時，高老師也要回教室，她看見了我們，問：“你們的英語作業做完了嗎？”我們都搖頭説：“沒有做完。”“怎麼沒做完？佈置的又不多。”“沒有時間做，別的作業還沒寫完呢。”高老師笑了笑摟着我們親切地説：“你們現在挺忙的'，我們小時候可沒這麼忙。”是啊，現在比四年級忙多了，休息的時間都沒有，下課都像沒下課似的。

我想：“以前我都是錯聽力，這次我可不能再錯了！”於是，我仔細地聽着每一個單詞、字母，生怕漏掉哪題。過了一會兒，聽力部分結束了，我們馬上做起了筆試部分，真是俗話説得好“讀書破萬卷，下筆如有神”，經過前幾天的`反覆複習，我健筆如飛地答着題，下決心一定要得到滿分！過了許久，英語考試終於結束了，我常常地舒了一口氣。

下午，成績公佈了，我得了99分，我錯的完全是因為馬虎，我居然在寫意思時把“朋友”寫成了“朋”！通過這次考試，我懂得了“欲速則不達”這個道理，儘管充分複習，但考試不仔細檢查，是得不到滿分的。
