My hobby is fishing. I am fond of going fishing, for it is both interesting and iastructive-It tempers my willpower. Last Sunday I went fishing with my friend, He started at daybreak. After three hours＇ cycling, we arrived at the outskirts of Hefei and came to a stream. The water is clear and clean. One can see fish swimming. The meadow sprinkled with buttercups slopes to the stream. It is a good place for fishing.

上星期天，我和朋友何平去釣魚。黎明時動身，騎了3小時自行車後，來到達合肥郊區的一條小溪邊。溪水又清又淨，能看見魚在水裏遊。撤滿草茛的草地傾斜着伸向小漠。那是個釣魚的好地方。

幾分鐘後，一切準備就緒。把釣餌魚蟲放在鈎上，並將直線垂入溪中，手握釣竿等在那兒垂釣。1小時過去了，我一條魚也沒釣着，不時地提起釣竿，一次又一次地失望，無魚上鈎。而溪對面何平已釣了好幾條魚，其中還有1條是大魚呢。

“怎麼你釣魚那麼容易，而對我卻那麼難?”我問道。

“這並不難。只是需要耐心。”何平答道：“一定要等浮子全沉下後再舉起釣竿，魚就在鈎上歡迎你了。”

過了一會兒，浮子在晃動。我屏住氣在等待，浮子又不動了。“親愛的魚兒，快上鈎。”我自言自語。一會兒，浮子又動了，接着突然下沉。正在此時，我舉起了釣芊。我喜出望外地釣到了一條魚，笑咪咪地把魚取下了鈎。

這件事給了我極大的啟示：成功需要毅力。過對缺乏毅力的年輕人更為重要。
