元宵節是中國的傳統節日，早在兩千多年前的西漢就有了，元宵賞燈始於東漢明帝時期。

明帝命令這一天夜晚在皇宮和寺廟點燈敬佛，令士族庶民都掛燈。所以現在有元宵燃燈的習俗。晚上我和爸爸媽媽爺爺奶奶一起吃了湯圓，甜甜的，真好吃。吃過晚飯後，我們出去玩。我看見圓圓的月亮掛在天空，家家户户都點亮了紅紅的燈籠，鞭炮聲震耳欲聾，滿天的焰火有的`像天女散花，有的像菊花盛開一樣，美麗極了。

我們來到江北，市民廣場的人真多啊!滿天飛舞着孔明燈。我們也買了個孔明燈。首先，我們把一塊蠟綁在孔明燈底部，然後用火點燃，再用手拿住孔明燈的四個角，過了一會兒，燈裏充滿熱氣，漸漸地鼓起來，我們就慢慢地鬆開手，孔明燈緩緩地飛上天。

我趕緊許了一個願。孔明燈越飛越高，好像要跟月亮去玩耍。真是一個快樂的元宵節。
