晚上，媽媽檢查作業時發現一本新圖畫本變成了薄薄的幾頁紙。於是我把美術課上的事一五一十地告訴了媽媽。媽媽臉上沒有一絲生氣的表情，她站起身打開電腦，叫我去看。電腦上有幾幅圖片還有一段話，上面寫着：愛護樹木，樹木是我們的朋友;節約用紙，浪費一千張紙就等於毀滅一棵小樹。我想起科學課上老師説過，樹木可以防止水土流失，抵擋沙塵暴，樹木還可以淨化空氣，美化環境……想到這些，我慚愧地低下了頭。

“媽媽，我錯了。”我悄悄地對媽媽説。媽媽摸了摸我的頭，輕輕地説：“你明白就好，現在有這麼好的學習條件是不容易的，你要學會珍惜，就讓我們從節約一張紙，從一件件小事做起。”
