1. 表示“安排”，注意以下用法：

①用作及物動詞。如：

a) 用名詞或代詞作賓語。如：

We will arrange everything. 你們會安排好一切的。

I’ve arranged a taxi for you. 我已為你們安排了一輛出租車。

有時用於被動語態。如：

It is all arranged. 這事全都安排好了。

b) 用不定式作賓語。如：

They arranged to start early. 他們計劃一早出發。

I’ve arranged to see them tonight. 我已安排今晚同他們見面。

We still have to arrange how to go there. 我們還得安排如何去那兒。

表示“安排某人做某事”，不能用 arrange sb to do sth, 而應用 arrange for sb to do sth 。

c) 用 that 從句作賓語。如：

d) 不接雙賓語。如：

Let’s try and arrange so that we can get there in time. 我們設法安排一下，以便能及時趕到。

用作不及物動詞時，還通常用於 arrange for sb to do sth。如：

He’s arranged for me to attend the meeting. 他已安排我去參加會議。

We have arranged for the car to come at nine. 我們已安排好讓汽車9點鐘來。

比較以下同義句型。如：

我們安排把會議推遲一週後召開。

正：We arranged for the meeting to be put off for a week.

正：We arranged that the meeting be put off for a week.

2. 表示“整理”、“排列”，是及物動詞。如：

They were arranged in kinds . 他們是按種類排列的。

We must arrange the room before the guests arrive. 在客人到來之前我們必須把房間整理好。
