submit an offer 提出報價

"submit",‘提出’;提出報價可由買賣任何一方向對方提出表示願意依自己所開的條件,與對方共定法律上有效的買賣契約,方式則以電報、傳真或函寄為主。

firm offer 確定報價,穩固報價

"firm",‘穩定的、確定的`’。"firm offer"即平常所謂的"offer",是目前國際上通用的報價方式。‘穩固報價’在報價單上載明瞭接受期限,並規定在期限內,所報出的各項條件都不得改變。因此被報價人只要在期限內接受,契約即告成立。而一旦對方有效地接受之後,報價之不得拒絕訂立合約。

subject to your reply being given... 在(某時)

"subject",在此為形容詞;"subject to",‘依照,視...而定’。"reply",‘回答’。此句後面加上時間,用於規定接受報價的期限,例如:"subject to your reply being given within one week"(一星期內答覆即視為確定報價)。

withdraw one's offer 撤回報價

"withdraw"‘撤回’。報價在被接受前,報價人得隨時撤回。撤回的通知,須在對方發出接受通知之前抵達到對方。如在對方‘接受報價通知’發出之後,則撤回無效。撤銷(cancellation)則不同,它是指報價生效後撤銷報價,使之無效的行為。
