2015年大學英語四級翻譯答題技巧

1.首先，確定關鍵詞(一般由兩個詞或詞組組成)，尋找可能的'英文相應表達;

2.然後，利用相應的語法結構或功能連接方式(connectives)將兩個英文詞或詞組連接起來;

3.最後，結合待翻譯的文字在句子中所處的位置與功能，根據句法結構理順語言。

如： The substance does not dissolve in water _______________________ (不管是否加熱).

如： The substance does not dissolve in water_ ______________________ (不管是否加熱).

[關鍵詞]加熱――heat;不管是否――(no matter) whether… or not

[連接]heat與其邏輯主語substance之間需採用被動連接，即heat加ed。

[優化]whether (it is) heated or not. ――注意，it is可省略。

[點評]如果heated or not放在句首，whether也可以省略。
