各位同學、老師：大家好！

今天我講話的主題是：做文明學生，創文明校園。話題很老，但不過時。它對學生和學校來説，是一個永恆的話題。

人生因什麼而精彩？答案很多，但有一個答案一定正確合理——人生因文明而精彩。 校園因什麼而文明？校園因你、我的文明而文明。我們的校園如果沒有與之相適應的精神狀態、環境氛圍和文明行為，就不會有校園的文明，文明校園既包含物質的校園，更包括精神的校園，精神的校園需要我們全體師生共同、長期的努力。

文明是一種進步，是思想的科學，行為的端正，習慣的改善，修養的提高，品質的提升；是人性的解放、自由、完善和超越。從教育成長的角度，文明是告別作日的無知和粗俗，是自覺的控制，是人性戰勝，戰勝不符合社會、法律、紀律、公德的本能慾望，是把自己從相互敵視、相互防範中解放出來，從心靈的戰爭中解放出來，從狹隘的功利的和世俗的羈絆中解放出來……

我們同學成長髮展的現實，需要呼喚文明的迴歸、重建和發展，環顧四同不文明的`現象仍然頻繁地出現我們身邊。

例如：語言不文明，有些同學出口成髒，打架罵人的事件還偶有發生；

例如：環境不整潔，飲料杯、面巾紙、塑料袋、紙屑隨處丟棄，這些都映襯了我們衞生習慣差、衞生意識薄弱；

例如：財物損壞不少，在寒假中，我們的寢室門被踢翻很多；少數同學洗臉洗衣服後水龍頭忘了關，嚴重影響集體生活，這不只是浪費的問題，而是人性的缺失；

例如: 有同學過度消費，總在不應該的時間進小店……

可見，文明與醜陋的衝突嚴重存在，要引起全校師生的重視，需要大家的行動。

文明的學生，一定是愛學習的人。他總是對知識充滿渴望，在課內課外都是一個主動的學習者，愛提問題、不怕困難。

文明的學生，一定是講禮貌的人。禮貌用語在他嘴邊，遠離污言穢語，他懂得要想別人尊重自己，自己首先要尊重別人，因為尊重他人與尊重自己同樣重要。

文明的學生，一定是有着良好衞生習慣的人。他會自覺維護校園環境，不會隨便買零食吃，因為他懂得隨便買零食既浪費又不利於健康，他更不會亂丟飲料杯、面巾紙、塑料袋、紙片，而且會動手撿拾紙片等，因為他懂得環境是大家的環境，把美好留給他人和自己。 文明的學生，一定是愛護公私財物的人。他愛學校的一草一木，不會踐踏草坪，不會亂塗亂畫，更不會踢門、浪費水電……而且會勸阻、制止破壞行為，及時報告。

文明的學生，一定是遵守紀律的人。他會將自己的物品擺放齊整，會自覺排隊就餐，不會大聲喧譁影響別人的學習，會遵守學校的規章制度。

文明的學生，一定是一個有愛心和責任感的人。他會尊敬師長和友愛同學，關愛身邊的人和事，不會與同學吵架、搞不團結，他會懂得感恩，感恩父母長輩的養育，感恩老師的教導……

因為我們年輕，我們滿懷憧憬，我們充滿激情，我們追求成長和長大，在這個過程中，讓我們親近文明，表現文明，實踐文明，做文明學生，創文明校園。

Do a Civilized Student, Make a Civilized Campus

Hello, everyone! I’m I am in Class Two, Grade Eight.

Today, I’m honor to be standing here to give you my speech. And the topic of my speech is: do a civilized student, make a civilized campus. The topic is very old, but it isn’t old-fashioned. For students and schools, it is an eternal topic.

What makes life wonderful? There are many answers, but there is an answer must be correct and reasonable. Life is wonderful because of civilization.

What makes a campus civilized? It is our civilization. If our campus doesn’t have suitable mental state, ambience and civilized behavior, there will be no campus civilization. Civilized campus both includes material campus and spiritual campus. Spiritual campus needs all teachers and students to work together.

Civilization is a kind of progress, civilization is a scientific thinking, civilization is a correct behavior, it is to improve habits, it is to improve cultivation, it is to improve quality; Civilization is the liberation of humanity, freedom, perfection and transcendence.

View from students’ growth and development, we need call for the return of civilization, reconstruction and development, some uncivilized phenomenon still frequently occur around us.

For example: uncivilized language, some students say bad language, fighting and cursing also occasionally occur;

For example: environment is not clean, drink cups, tissues, plastic

bags, pa-pe-r crumbs are thrown everywhere, they reflect our poor

unhealthy habits, and our healthy awareness is very weak.

For example: some students use money too much, they should not

enter shops at any time and so on.

The conflict between civilization and eyesore still exist, all the

teachers and students must pay attention to this and act at once.

A civilized student, he must like learning. He was always full of

desire for knowledge, he is an active learner in class and after school, he always asks questions, and he isn’t afraid of difficulties.

A civilized student, he must be a polite person. Polite words are in his mouth and away from bad language, he knows let others respect him; he must respect others firstly, it is equally important to respect others and respect themselves.

A civilized student, he must have good health habits. He would

consciously protect the campus environment, and buy snacks to eat at any time, because he understands that it not only wastes money but also is bad for your health. He would not throw beverage cups, tissues, plastic bags, pa-pe-r, but he would pick up pieces of pa-pe-r and so on, because he knows

the environment is everyone's environment, it is much better to leave good environment to others and him.

A civilized student, he must be a disciplined person. He would put his things tidily. He would queue to have meals consciously, and he wouldn’t speak loudly to influence others, and he would comply with school rules.

A civilized student, he must be a caring and responsible person. He would respect teachers and students, care people and things around him, don’t quarrel with the students and he won’t fight with others; he would know how to thank others, thank parents, elders and teachers……

Because we are young, we are full of longing and passion, we

pursuit growth, and in this process, let us get close to civilization,

perform civilization, practice civilization and do a civilized student, and make a civilized campus.

I am Chinese. I am proud of being a Chinese with five thousand years of civilization behind. I've learned about the four great inventions made by our forefathers. I've learned about the Great Wall and the Yangtze River. I've learned about Zhang Heng(張衡)and I've learned about Zheng He(鄭和)．Who says the Yellow River Civilization has vanished(消失)？I know that my ancestors have made miracles(奇蹟)on this fertile land and we're still ma-ki-ng miracles. Who can ignore the fact that we have established ourselves as a great state in the world, that we have devised our own nuclear weapons, that we have successfully sent our satellites into space, and that our GNP ranks No. 7 in the world? We have experienced the plunders (掠奪) by other nations, and we have experienced the war. Yet, based on such ruins, there still stands our nation----China, unyielding and unconquerable!

I once came across an American tourist. She said, “China has a history of five thousand years, but the US only has a history of 200 years. Five thousand years ago, China took the lead in the world, and now it is the US that is leading.”My heart was deeply touched by these words. It is true that we're still a developing nation, but it doesn't mean that we can despise (鄙視) ourselves. We have such a long-standing history, we have such abundant resources, we have such intelligent and diligent people, and we have enough to be proud of. We have reasons to say proudly： we are sure to take the lead in the world in the future again, for our problems are big, but our ambition (雄心) is even bigger, our challenges (挑戰) are great, but our will is even greater.

I am Chinese. I have inherited (繼承) black hair and black eyes. I have inherited the virtues of my ancestors. I have also taken over responsibility. I am sure, that wherever I go, whatever I do, I shall never forget that I am Chinese!

B: You? kids! I’m much healthier than you.

A: Sure be me! I’m very healthy. I often eat lots of vegetables and much meat every day. And I often eat all kinds of fruit. So I’m healthier than you, how about you?

B: A-ha , Are you healthier than me? you’re kidding! I’m pretty healthy. I always eat much much vegetables and fruit. And I eat eggs,I drink I am healthier than you.

“That is very kind of you,” the woman said. “I’m having a lot of trouble with it. I think it’s struck.” “Together we’ll soon move it.” The man said, He got into the back seat of the car and took hold of the other end of the box. He said, “And he began to push hard.”

For a few minutes the man and the woman struggled with the box. Soon they were tired. “Let’s rest for a minutes,” the man said,” I’m sorry, but it is struck.” A few minutes later, the man said, “let’s try you ready?” Both of them took hold of the box again. “one, two, three!” the man said, and they went on with their struggle.

At last, when they were very tired, the man said, “you’re right, It is really struck, I don’t think there’s any way we can get it out of the car.”

The woman cried. “I’m trying to get it in!”

The Elves and the Shoemaker

Many years ago, there was a shoe shop. A shoemaker and his wife lived there. They were very poor. They only had one piece of leather. They wanted to ;make one more pair of shoes.

That night, the shoemaker put the leather on the table. Then they went to bed.

The next day, the shoemaker saw a new pair shoes on the table. He was very happy. Soon a man came into the shop. He bought the shoes. Now the shoemaker had some money.

The shoemaker bought more leather. He wanted to make two pairs of shoes. He put the leather on the table. Then he went to bed. The next day, there were two pairs of new shoes on the table.

The next night, the shoemaker didn’t go to bed. He saw two elves in his shop. They made the shoes. The shoemaker wanted to thank the elves. He mad some little clothes for them. He also cooked them a big dinner.

That night, the elves came to the shop. There wasn’t any leather. But they were very happy to find the new clothes and food.
