據班主任範琳琳介紹，前幾天學生們已經提前把“六一”兒童節買禮物的錢捐給災區，此次利用作文課時間，開展了“給災區小朋友的一封信”活動，讓同學們利用“談感受、寄心語”的形式給災區小朋友寫一封信，目的是讓大家意識到，金錢的幫助是一種物質上的形式，而語言和心靈上的撫慰往往比物質更為重要。通過這個活動，既可以讓災區的孩子們知道，這個世界上還有很多同齡人在關心着他們，讓他們感受到温暖，同時也讓班裏的同學們過一個別樣的兒童節。
