  不同水平的託福寫作技巧

我們把學生分成三個階段的學生。第一個分數段是limited的,然後fair的,然後是good。

首先是limited的學生,首先對於托福考試中寫作部分最大的問題可能是語言表達的問題。因為語言的限制,很多思路都不能很好的表達出來。對於這個問題,學生不要一味的追求要用很難的詞,首先要學會把簡單的詞用對,把簡單的語法用準確。平時可以背一些句型,這樣可以保證一部分的文章篇幅裏面不會出現語法錯誤。另外呢,在論證方面,也就是論點展開,可以用一些身邊的小故事,用簡單的語言寫出來。第二點,這些學生很多時候看到一篇文章都沒有思路。看到一道題,可能深情凝望3分鐘,一點想法都沒有。這個問題怎麼破?除了平時通過做題不斷積累,也需要在備考過程中對於考題按照話題進行歸納,因為很多相同話題的題目都是可以用一樣的論點來進行證明的。

其次是fair的學生,相對於limited的學生來説,fair的學生語言上會比較有優勢。會影響託福寫作考官理解的語法錯誤相對較少,用詞也會比較準確。但是這部分學生在語言上還是句式比較單一,用詞比較簡單。這一方面,可以通過平時對於高分句式和同義詞替換的積累來增加語言的多樣性。此外,這部分學生出現的最大問題,也是沒有思路,或者想到了論點不知道應該如何展開。和limited的學生一樣,這部分學生也應該按照話題對於機經裏的題目進行歸納總結。此外,在論證方面可以多積累一些高頻論據。這樣不僅在考場中節約了時間,還通過高頻論據裏的高分句型讓語言更加多樣化,一舉多得。

最後是good的學生。這一部分的學生和前兩部分的學生相比,最大的優勢還是在語言方面。這部分的學生可能在用詞方面會用一些高大上的詞彙了,語法上的錯誤也比較少。那麼這部分的學生問題會出現在文章組織和結構方面,他們可能不太瞭解一些託福寫作技巧。問題在於一種是碰到不熟悉的題,30分鐘的考試時間不夠用。第二種就是不能選擇一種最合適的,邏輯最嚴謹的'文章結構。那麼這個層次的同學,平時就應該按照題型對於機經裏的題目進行劃分,思考對於不同題型來説,什麼樣的結構是最適合的。比如説對於最高級題目來説,通用性最高,邏輯最嚴謹的就是讓步轉折結構。通過類型化的練習,讓考試的時候可以有一個清晰的思路。

  託福寫作技巧:結尾段

如果把寫作比作一場辯論賽的話,結尾段就是比賽的總結陳詞。一個精彩的段落總結詞既可以思路清晰的總結自己的觀點,也可以對文章主旨進行展望和反思。在寫作的過程中可以通過總結分論點和重申立場來總結全文,可以通過生化擴展來總結文章中心思想。很多同學因為語言水平和時間關係放棄了“昇華擴展”這個層次。之所以這樣是可以理解的,因為如果能夠準確總結文章就能夠支撐起整篇文章的結構,如果能夠快速的掌握總結文章意思的技巧,並且運用到作文中,那麼就很有可能在寫作上拿到一個不錯的分數。

在結論寫作中常用到的方法有結論法、建議/號召法、展望法等。結論法僅是要求考生能夠對對題目所討論的話題進行一個簡單的總結。關於這一點我們可以在平時複習的過程中就根據托福考試歷年真題上面的題目來總結,比如環境、醫療、教育、金錢、職業、科技、經濟,根據每個話題準備一兩句話就可以了。

建議、號召法在寫作上是一種比較中立寫作方法,也即是不褒也不貶,只是站在中立的立場給出一個合理的建議,也就是將上面的句式改為祈使句就可以了。

展望法在使用的時候要求比較低,因為通常情況下他表達的是一個美好的願望。托福考試中寫作部分的題目大部分都是argument,所以展望的就是對題目正確方向的一個概括。比如説在工作中錢的重要性,關於這個題目的展望就是:希望隨着社會進步經濟發展,人們生活越來越好。

“科技”定義:

Technology is the activity or study of using scientific knowledge for practical purposes in industry, farming, medicine, business, etc.

“電話”定義:

The telephone is a technology of communication that makes it possible for people to talk directly to someone else in a different place.

“電視”定義:

Television, a communicative medium sending and receiving pictures and sounds by electrical signals, has become a traditional form of mass media and part of the modern culture.

Movies, moving pictures that can tell stories or show reality, have become a mainstream form of art and an important way of entertainment.
