Its never too late to mend. After suffering from sand storms， people have now realized the importance of trees in water and soil conservation. They are planting more and more trees to fight against the greedy desert.

which is the most beautiful building on the campus， with another round flower bed in front. Behind it， there lie four basketball courts. Next to the courts is the sports ground. 【英語看圖作文的寫作方法】

針對國中生的實際能力，書面表達為英語教學的一大難題，其常見形式多為看圖作文。結合自己教學與寫作的經驗，對看圖作文談幾點體會。 寫作技巧，歡迎閲讀。

1. 認真審圖，列出要點

看圖作文的關鍵，在於看懂圖畫內容，理解畫面意思，因此考生須仔細觀察每幅圖畫所描繪的情景，深刻理解作者通過圖畫所傳達的信息，列出寫作的要點。歷年NMET書面表達大都具備6個左右的描述要點。然後再根據以上所列要點擴點成句，擴句時考生要注意圖畫所給的時間背景，正確使用人稱、時態和語態。最後組句成文。

2. 層次分明，行文流暢

組句成文時考生要注意適當地使用一些過渡詞(如and，then，but，however，besides，thus，soon，first，second，finally等)以便使圖與圖之間內容過渡自然，脈絡清晰，層次分明。組句成文時還要求行文的文理通順，意思連貫與流暢。因此，我們在做書面表達題時，可以把作狀語用的副詞(尤其是時間副詞)、副詞短語或副詞從句提至句首，使得上句的尾部與下句的首部相互呼應，以收到連貫的效果。

3. 使用簡單句和有把握句式

考生在進行書面表達時應多使用簡單句，少量地使用並列句和複合句。如NMET1997的書面表達參考答案中，整篇文章只用了一個由as引導的複合句。其它皆為簡單句。而在NMET1998的書面表達參考答案中，整篇文章用了一個由how引導的'感歎句和一個由before引導的複合句。其它皆為簡單句。而在NMET1999的書面表達參考答案中，整篇文章僅用了一個由where引導的複合句，其它皆為簡單句。因此，考生在做NMET看圖作文時可採用以下五種基本句型：

A：主語+系動詞+表語

The work seemed difficult to us.

B：主語+謂語(vi.)+其它

Great changes have taken place in my hometown.

C：主語+謂語+賓語+其它

He likes English.

D.主語+謂語+直接賓語+間接賓語+其它

He gave me a new dictionary.

E.主語+謂語+賓語+賓語補足語

I find it important to study English.

4.文章結尾要精彩

在文章結尾時適時、適當地使用一些表示情感因素的句式可使文章結尾很精彩，顯得自然、得體。

5. 字跡清楚,書寫工整

書面表達屬主觀性試題，閲卷的主觀印象直接關係到得分。主觀印象之一就是書寫水平。因此，考生在做看圖作文時，要做到書寫認真，字跡清楚，排除空心句號、亂塗亂寫的陋習。字體以斜體行書為好，不可寫一種似圓體又不是圓體的怪體。注意單詞拼寫要正確，文章在試卷中的位置要適中，最好分上、下兩部分。不難想象，這樣一份字跡清晰，卷面整潔，標點得當的試卷在大學聯考閲卷中是會得高分的。

總之，做好看圖作文，要做到：要點明確，行文流暢，多用簡單句，結尾精彩，書寫工整。
