英語口語句子中的輕重音

對於以英語為母語的人士來説，重音位置和輕重音之間的對照是他們通過聽覺識辨單詞或意思的主導因素，一旦説話人對重音把握出現錯誤，就會造成不必要的誤會及出現尷尬的場面，甚至還會造成交流障礙等等。

●在句子完全不變的情況下，句意如何在重音發生變化時隨之變化。

I didn't say he stole the money

1. I didn’t say he stole the money.

2. I didn’t say he stole the money.

我沒説過他偷了錢 ( 重讀“I”, 強調我沒説，是其他人説的。)

　　2. I didn’t say he stole the money.

我沒説過他偷了錢 ( 重讀"didn't", 意思是我沒説，假設有人説：“我説他偷錢了”，但事實上我沒有説，所以我要為自己辯護，這種情況下就可以説：I didn't say he.....)

　　3. I didn’t say he stole the money.

我沒説過他偷了錢 ( 重讀“say”，強調我僅僅是通過某種方式表達了“他偷錢”的可能性，或許我暗示了，或許我寫出來了，但是我沒有直接説出來。所以可以説：I indicated that he stole the money, but I didn't say it. )

　　4. I didn’t say he stole the money.

我沒説過他偷了錢 ( 重讀“he”，表示強調我沒説是他偷的.，而是我認為是別人偷的。比如有一個人走過來説“就是他偷了會長 Jay 的錢”, 然後另一個人説“啊...不是他，不是他偷的.”那這個時候就是在強調不是他，是別人。)

　　5. I didn’t say he stole the money.

我沒説過他偷了錢 (重讀“stole”，是表示我沒説他是“偷”，那有可能是借的或是搶的。)

　　6. I didn’t say he stole the money.

我沒説過他偷了錢 (重讀“the”，先説一下“the”的意思，這裏money前面放“the”表特指這個錢，那麼當強調the的時候，意思就是説我沒説他偷了“這次的錢”，但是我暗含了一種他偷過別的錢的意思……)

　　7. I didn’t say he stole the money.

我沒説過他偷了錢 (重讀“money”，強調的是“錢”，意思是説我不認為他偷了錢，但是我認為他或許偷了別的東西。I didn't say he stole the money. He may have taken somejewelry. 換句話説，我認為他是個賊，但是我不認為他偷了錢，而是偷了其它的東西。)

like重讀，是最普通的一種情況，對方只是單純的詢問，你想點什麼?

　　2. What would you like?

you重讀，一搬情況下是一羣人在一起，或者大家在聊別人都想要什麼的時候，發問人想表達一種“你”想要什麼的情感。

　　3. What would you like?

Would重讀，通常情況下是一直討論眾多選項，最後發問人想確定的知道對方到底想要什麼，或者是説話人一直在拒絕，最後發問人有些不高興，甚至是生氣，而發出的疑問?

　　4. What would you like?

這裏重讀what也有兩種情況，一種是發問人沒有聽清對方的回答，因此想再問一次，第二種是發問人對對方給的答案表示詫異，不敢相信，因此要再次確認一遍。
