Blow, blow, thou（你，爾，汝） winter wind,

Thou art not so unkind

As man's ingratitude（忘恩負義） ;

Thy（你的） tooth is not so keen（敏鋭的.，渴望的）

Because thou art not seen,

Although thy breath be rude.

Heigh ho! sing heigh ho! unto（到，直到） the green holly:

Most friendship is feigning（假裝） , most loving mere folly;

Then, heigh ho! the holly!

This life is most jolly.

Freeze, freeze, thou bitter sky,

That dost not bite so nigh（在附近的，直接的）

As benefits forgot:

Though thou the waters warp（彎曲，偏見） ,

Thy sting（刺痛，諷刺） is not so sharp

As friendship remember'd not.

可樂惟此生。

不愁冱天冰雪，

其寒尚難遽及

受施而忘恩；

風皺滿池碧水，

利刺尚難比

捐舊之友人。

噫嘻乎！且向冬青歌一曲：

友交皆虛妄，恩愛痴人逐。

噫嘻乎冬青！

可樂惟此生。
