GRE閲讀新題型解析

GRE新改革，閲讀形式大調整。改革之後舊GRE考試成為歷史，新GRE考試題型有所變化，包括GRE閲讀理解部分的形式調整比較明顯?

新的GRE考試當中關於GRE閲讀理解部分所進行的形式上調整是比較明顯的，首先從題目所佔的比例上來説傳統GRE閲讀理解和句子填空試題僅佔語文考試題目比重的不到二分之一(18/38)，而新GRE考試則主要由這兩部分試題組成。

首先題型上從原來的傳統的五選一變成了三種不同的考題

第一種題型：多項選擇題

樣題當中所給的第一題即是傳統的五選一的題型，這種題型在解題的過程當中基本與現行的考試所出的題型沒有太大的差異。是一道傳統的推斷題，我們可以根據當中給出的the current cost of generating electricity找到原文當中的相應句子"Currently, technology that would capture carbon dioxide emitted by power plants and sequester it harmlessly underground or undersea instead of releasing it into the atmosphere might double the cost of generating electricity."由此答案確定為C。

而後面兩種是在之前的考試當中所沒有的。其中第二種考題是中國同學相對不太適應的不定項選擇。

第二種題型：多項選擇題II

此題雖然從表面上似乎是發生了變化，需要同學們逐一判斷，但是從本質上來説並沒有發生變化，只是需要考生在做題的過程當中分析清楚選項。

第三種題型：段中點選題

3. Select the sentence that explains why an outcome of sequestration that might have been expected would not occur.

Answer:

"But because sequestration does not affect the cost of electricity transmission and distribution, delivered prices will rise less, by no more than 50 percent."

此題從本質上是對文章內容的深入理解的考查，但是從另一個角度也説明了ETS之前對於細節信息的要求上更進一步，具體到了對於句子的精確理解。針對上述所説到的樣題當中出現的相應的題型以及題目所考察的要點，我們發現新GRE考試題型當中閲讀部分，除了保留原有的考試模式之外ETS對於題目的外在形式作出了一定的調整。雖然目前所給的樣題當中我們發現，第三道題目是一道明顯考察方式不同於以往的題型之外，第一和第二道題基本沒有顯著的改變原有的考察要點，因此在備考的.過程當中，考生還是可以使用原有的備考方式，但是由於第三種題型的加入，所以在保留原有練習方式的同時還需要加入新的對於句子間邏輯聯繫方面的訓練，而且需要精確理解句子的含義。因此，從整體上來説，即將到來的新GRE考試對考生來説還是具有相當的挑戰。

從文中所述可以看出新GRE考試相比舊GRE考試來講，GRE考試題型的閲讀部分比重有所增加，相應的使得GRE閲讀理解量增大，難度也有所加大，參加新GRE考試的同學要作出相應調整作出合理規劃。
