旅遊英語作文 篇1

Travel-mate WantedI’m a 19-year-old female sophomore named Fu Ping. I hereby earnestly invite a foreign young lady—college student preferred—to make a three – week touring trip with plan is to set off next weekend, when the summer vacation officially begins. The first stop is Kunming, the world-renowned city for its beauty and mild temperature. We’ll get there by train and stay there for 2 days, and then we’ll head for Jinggangshan, a former revolutionary base as well as a natural beauty spot. After a 3-day visit there , we will take a long-distance coach to a nearby port city by the Changjiang River and board a downstream ship to Shanghai, so that we can enjoy the great scenery alongside the third longest river in the world. As everybody knows, Shanghai is the busiest and fastest developing city in China. I’d like to have a look at its prosperity, so the stay there will be about half a week. And a famous Chinese saying goes, ”Just as there is Paradise in heaven, there are Suzhou and Hangzhou on Earth ”, so a 4-day visit to these two cities near Shanghai is must. All together, our trip will last about three weeks.I only expect that my travel-mate could split the expenses with me and talk with me in beautiful English, and I would be an excellent guide for her since I major in tourist e interested please contact me either through email ) or phone call (52222221) .

旅遊英語作文 篇2

Dear Mr. Cook,

I am writing this letter to recommend you one of the tourist attractions in my city —The Great Wall. The detailed reasons for my recommendation are listed as the following.

At the top of the list, the Great Wall is one of the oldest historic interests in China. In addition, there are a large number of tourists in China and abroad touring the Great Wall and appreciating its grandness, and therefore it is not too much to say that unless a foreigner visit the Great Wall, it equals to say that he has never been to China .

Finally, I sincerely hope that you will have a good time in China. Looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely,

Li Ming

'Summer Work, Travel' Brings Many Students to US(1/2)

This week, we answer a question from a student in Odessa, Ukraine. Marushka wants to know about a program that lets foreign students work in the United States during their summer program is called Summer Work/Travel. The State Department administers it for full-time college or university students who speak English well.

Students come on a J-one exchange visa. They can work for up to four months during their school break. They generally work in service jobs in stores, resorts, hotels, restaurants and amusement parks. But summer internships are also permitted.

"Summer" in this case means summer in the student's country. Those from south of the equator come to the United States during the northern ents cannot work as housekeepers in private homes or be involved in patient care. And they are supposed to be paid the same as Americans.

Congress created this popular program under a nineteen sixty-one law, theMutual Educational and Cultural Exchange Act. Last year, one hundred fifty thousand students came to the United States this way. Students can do the Summer Work/Travel program more than once.

旅遊英語作文 篇4

This may day Dad took me to climb Huashan, where all the plants and trees were unforgettable.

I have been to Jincheng Mountain in Yilong, where fruit trees are everywhere and green grass is everywhere. But I can't compare to the beauty of Huashan; I have been to the east mountain of Deyang, where the mountains are green and green, but they are still not as strange as Huashan; I have also been to the Zhongjing Pingshan, where there are many places of interest, but not in Huashan.

As soon as I set foot on the Huashan Road, I saw a mountain peak rising from the ground, and a dark green light on the mountain. I looked at it. Dad said, "Hey, go." I went up and said, "Daddy, look, what a beautiful view!"

As I walked, I saw that the mountain peak was bare and grotesque. Under such conditions, trees were still growing. There is a mountain with these one or two trees long, far from seeing, the mountain is different, the mountain is like the tota Li, the tree is the tower, how angry! We see a national protection tree - the Sophora japonica, more than 500 years history. The tree is thick and oval - dense and oval, and the more I climb, the more scared it is, but the joy is my motivation, and my family and I continue to climb and climb higher. I saw Xifeng. It was the place where incense sticks to save the mountain. I jumped up with joy. Then I walked a long way, and I saw the long sky plank road, which was connected by a plank on the edge of the mountain. Look at that 1000 foot building, straight up 87 degrees slope, straight into the sky.

The listens say: the sunrise in Huashan and the sea of clouds are also beautiful. The sun just rose from the horizon, the first to show a lovely smiling face...... Hey, down the mountain, ride the cable car, so high! On the cable car to see this side of the mountain is different. How fast can I believe that every passing pile on the cable car is very fast, and when it reaches the foot of the hill?

Time is too fast, or I'll conquer it again.

旅遊英語作文 篇5

On the day of May 1, I was waken up by my mother in the morning, and I said I was going to play in Ninghai. I jumped three feet, and after breakfast, I started to follow my mom.

First of all, we came to the first attraction -- Wu Shan grottoes.

By picking up the ticket, I saw a statue at the first time. He sat there with beer bottle in his hand and seemed to be welcoming friends from all over the world. Along the way, I saw large and small grotesque grottoes. At last, I was attracted by the largest grottoes. I asked the tour guide, "Why are there so many shallow holes on the wall?" the guide smiled and said, "these are the hammers hammered by our forefathers." I looked at the small holes in the wall, and I thought I would have told them how hard it was for them to make the work with hard sweat and clever wisdom. When I looked up at the top of the cave, I couldn't help shouting, "Wow! It's so high." Look on the top of the blue sky, I have a feeling of limited outlook. The Wushan grottoes are really beautiful!

From the Wushan Grottoes to eat lunch, the tour guide arranged for us to eat in the vicinity of the scenic spots. After dinner, we hurried to the second scenic spots - - East Zhejiang Grand Canyon.

The guide said that the Grand Canyon would pass through a river. So we sat on a big ship and set out. On the both sides of the river is a large mountain. It must be part of the Grand Canyon of East Zhejiang. After about half an hour, we arrived at the destination. From the boat, we started a hard journey. At first I walked very easily. Later, I felt more and more tired. I kept asking my mother, "have you come to the bottom of the valley and go to the bottom of the valley?" mother said it should be fast. Suddenly, a stone forest appeared before me. These stones are like sea lions, some like elephants, others are like frogs. Behind the stone forest is the valley bottom.

Although playing on the valley floor is short, it is also the most fun spot I've ever played.

旅遊英語作文 篇6

Tourism is becoming an increasingly important industry in China. Our government has taken effective measures to improve this new industry over the past few years. For example, it has explored many appealing Scenic and historic spots. Tourists from all over the world come in floek to China every year.

But people differ as to the advantages and disadvantages of the tourist e who are in favour of tourism argue that our country can benefit a lot from it. For one thing,it is a large source of foreign exchange and an important part of national planning aswell. For another,we may well say thattourism can help to promote the understanding and friendship among the peoples of different main reason why some people oppose tourism is that the masses cannot benefit from it because the pressure of too many tourists means the higher prices of goods.

Inspite of this, I think its gains outweigh its losses. It also meansmore employment and more income for the country. For this reason the tourist industry Should be developed vigorously so as to meet the needs of our socialist economy.

旅遊英語作文 篇8

我的難忘的旅行

Last summer I went to Vietnam with my parents。 We stayed at a small village outside Saigon。 The air and water was very clean and there were many kids playing in the mud along with water buffalos。 Though it’s a very poor country, the kids seem to be happy。 They live with their farmer parents in little houses built with dirt and straw and help out a lot in the rice field during the day。 They don’t have TVs or Internet, but they enjoy a lot playing outside。 It was a very memorable trip that I will never forget。
